Green-Box Chamber Music Concert

March 27, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
Staatsoperette Dresden

A chamber music series bringing together music and climate protection.

Consumed. Dirty. Overheated. Obstructed. Many rivers, lakes and our groundwater in Germany are not in a good condition.
Our lifestyle and our way of doing business do not only affect our waters. Against our better knowledge, we are destroying forests, fertile soil, wet moors and floodplains. Intensified by heat, drought and heavy rain, consequences of the climate crisis, the basis of our lives and our children and grandchildren is at stake.

With scenic readings from the play "Water" by Kathrin Röggla* by actors from the Staatsschauspiel Dresden and the exhibition "Everything in the river!? Water in Crisis" by Weiter Thinking - Heinrich Böll Foundation Saxony e.V. we will take a look at the water crisis and discuss possible solutions while enjoying musical selections across four centuries.
