What do the baroque master Handel, his Venetian contemporary Vivaldi, the bel canto opera composer Rossini, the impressionist tone painter Debussy and the American minimal music artist John Adams have in common? They all drew inspiration for individual works from the element of water. The musicians of the BADISCHE STAATSKAPELLE lead the audience of this concert through the diverse world of water - a valuable resource and a habitat that needs to be protected as it is increasingly being threaded by climate change.
