"Recycling Concerto"

When ARD meteorologist Sven Plöger presents the Frankfurt Radio Symphony's "Spotlight" discussion concert with TV presenter Jennifer Sieglar, you will be infected by his enthusiasm for the weather and climate cycles and at the same time sensitized to the unusual “Recycling Concerto” by Gregor A. Mayrhofer with the phenomenal young drummer Vivi Vassileva.
Foils, plastics, used glass, scrap metal and aluminum coffee capsules, which normally pollute our environment as residual waste, are transformed here into percussion instruments, for which the Munich composer wrote an original, jazzy, swinging solo concerto. An exciting and stimulating “Spotlight” under the direction of Krzysztof Urbański and the hr-Sinfonieorchester is guaranteed.
