It all started with a lecture in the community about the possibilities of a forest garden with edible fruits. Why not create such a garden in a place that is accessible to everyone and that offers the plants protection from wild animals thanks to walls and hedges: in the cemetery in Niederkirchen? On Sunday, May 5, 2024, the Paradise Garden in the cemetery of Niederkirchen will be officially inaugurated. Musicians from the Pfalzphilharmonie Kaiserslautern, Aina Amengual (horn), Karoline Janot and Silke Kuba (violin), Ann-Katrin Klebsch (viola) and Caroline Busser (cello), will perform a short musical program for the inauguration. Thanks to a generous donation, the Paradise Garden was able to be expanded on the initiative of Silke Kuba to include numerous plants such as apple and almond trees, fig trees and grapevines.
