Festival of the Senses - See, hear and experience nature!

With the children's concert "Listen, who's singing", the Berlin director Sophie Louise Busch and New York composer Alexander Liebermann have prepared a special kind of musical program together with musicians from our member orchestras. On Saturday July 30th and Sunday July 31st we dedicate ourselves to the melodies of the animal world.

What does a humpback whale actually sound like? Can a peacock sing? How does a cicada produce its typical sound? And is it even possible to imitate these sounds? The sounds of very different animals can be mimicked by musicians imitating the melodies with their instruments. In this way, not only the sounds of nature, but also the different timbres of the instruments can be explored. The musical character of the animals is supplemented with short stories, interactions and images, so that the invaluable diversity of nature and its wildlife comes to life in a playful way.

The ticket for 5 euros also includes a visit to the indoor exhibition and the theme park from 10:00 a.m. The event area in the theme park will be seated. There is a free choice of seats. Our vegan/vegetarian bistro Barhama or your own picnic basket will take care of your culinary well-being at this open-air festival!
