A concert from the Initiative PhilCO2 by the musicians of the Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg

Smoke-free ovens instead of open fires when cooking – this is what the “Die Ofenmacher” association is committed to in Nepal and other developing countries. Not only does this practice avoid burns and long-term health damage, but also significantly reduces CO2 emissions. In this concert format, members of the “Die Ofenmacher” association will introduce their project and take the audience on a musical and culinary journey through different eras and cultures together with musicians from the Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg. Look forward to music by Georg Philipp Telemann, Clara Schumann, Bohuslav Martinu and Wim Henderickx, among others - along with delicacies from Nepalese cuisine.
