Unique nature films meet classical music highlights. When frogs and water buffaloes dance to Dvořák’s waltz, and silkworms transform into brilliant butterflies set to Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, magical moments emerge that captivate and move the audience.

On July 3 and 4, 2026, Achberg Castle will once again host an extraordinary festival that brings sustainability to life. Experiencing, understanding, and protecting nature—this triad combines emotional experiences with insights that inspire action. It promises to be full of surprises.

Joining the event is Sarah Wiener—the well-known chef, entrepreneur, author, and former Member of the European Parliament—who has long championed organic farming, sustainable consumption, and healthy food.

Lenn Kudrjawizki is also participating; an actor known for productions such as *The Counterfeiters*, *Tatort*, *Vikings*, and the ARD series *Der Kroatien-Krimi*, in which he long played the role of Detective Emil Perica. He is actively committed to sustainability in the cultural and climate sectors.

In addition, the renowned Orchester des Wandels will present a special evening. This collective of professional musicians from German orchestras is dedicated to climate and species conservation, combining artistic expression with environmental commitment. Together with Jan Haft—Germany’s most famous nature filmmaker—they will create a unique event: Haft’s impressive nature imagery will be paired with live music and narration exploring the fascinating world of local habitats.

Achberg Castle is the perfect setting for the GreenPulse Festival. Nestled in a natural landscape, the picturesque building towers over a valley through which the small Argen River winds. The extensive program will take place on a stage in the magnificent Knights' Hall, on the large open-air stage in the castle gardens, and at various other locations across the castle grounds and the immediate surrounding area.

The program is diverse, featuring not only lectures and cultural performances but also workshops and excursions that allow visitors to experience the nature surrounding Achberg Castle firsthand. Families are catered for, too: there is a dedicated program for children centered around the "NaTour.Bauwagen" (nature-themed trailer).

The GreenPulse Festival is one of a kind. It is designed for people who care about nature, want to learn more about the interconnections within it, and are curious about the wide variety of approaches to sustainability. It concerns us all—and we can all make a difference. Let’s do it.
