Lübeck Music and Congress Hall

CONCERT + LECTURE  WITH THE NATURWALD AKADEMIE LÜBECK AS PART OF THE SUSTAINABLE & FAIR GO.GRØØN CONVENTION

"Together we are stronger" - Based on this conviction, the musicians of the Orchester des Wandels Lübeck, the Lübeck Philharmoniker, are very committed to initiating concert formats in cooperation with other institutions and individuals committed to climate protection.

In this 40-minute lunch concert as part of the GO.GRØØN convention at the Lübeck Music and Congress Hall listeners can expect beautiful music of the Romantic period, performed by a septet of musicians from the Lübeck Philharmoniker. In a lively alternation, Loretta Leinen, forest ecologist and forestry scientist, will give us a look at the changing forest and vividly present the Lübeck concept of natural forest management.

Afterwards, we invite you to have a personal exchange and purchase our Orchester des Wandels chocolate at the information stand in the foyer. There will also be an opportunity at 1 p.m. to listen to a short lecture by master violin maker Andrea Masurat on global responsibility in the use of wood in violin and bow making. Many of the tropical wood species used in instrument making are threatened with extinction due to overexploitation.
