Dive into the depths of the sea with "Vox balaenae - Songs of Wales" by George Crumb for flute, cello and piano! Travel to the savannas and deserts with the string sextet "Leopards" by Fazil Say and learn something about the living conditions and ways of endangered animal species. The video department of the Staatstheater showcase wonderful footage. The animal world is brought to life for young and old by Dag Encke, director of the Nuremberg Zoo. The concert is rounded off with the classic "The Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saëns. A musical safari and an animal-inspired and informed concert morning await you!
