Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz Musicians

We are very happy to be a member of "Orchester des Wandels". Climate change affects us all, and only together can we bring about change. Therefore, we are especially pleased to be part of this wide-ranging, efficient and flexible network. We are thrilled to be able to support the sustainable reforestation project in Madagascar, as well as to support local targeted measures for climate protection here in Rheinland-Pfalz.
In conversations with people and activists from local nature conservation organizations, we have gained great enthusiasm and the will to work together with commitment and courage. We will use creative exchange with other orchestras to act as sustainably and effectively as possible. As a participant in a nationwide pilot project of the Federal Cultural Foundation, the Staatsphilharmonie has already determined its carbon footprint. As part of our cultural mandate, we consciously face the challenge of improving our environmental record as a concert and traveling orchestra. Climate protection and culture belong together: we are committed to this!
